Family owned · 30 years in trucking

Building the pathway that moves your freight efficiently.

CM2 Logistics is a family-owned freight brokerage in the heart of the I-81 and I-80 corridor. Three decades in trucking taught us that freight moves when people actually talk — so we match your loads to carriers we've vetted ourselves, and stay on them through proof of delivery.

Who we are

A family business that grew up in trucking.

CM2 Logistics is a licensed property broker, owned and run by one family with more than thirty years in this industry. We don't own the trucks — we own the outcome. When you hand us a load, we find the right carrier for that lane, verify they're legitimate and insured, negotiate a fair rate, and manage the shipment until the paperwork is signed.

We'd rather have a conversation than trade forms. Tell us what you ship and how often, and you'll get a straight answer on whether we're the right fit for that lane — including when we're not. Thirty years in trucking is mostly thirty years of learning where a shipment goes wrong, and who to call before it does.

Warehouses, manufacturers, distributors, anyone moving real volume — coverage stops being a gamble and a rate stops needing a decoder ring. The person who quotes your load is the person who answers when the delivery window is at risk.

  • Carriers we actually vet

Operating authority, insurance certificates, and safety history checked before a truck is ever assigned.

  • One point of contact

The same broker from quote to invoice. No ticket queues, no repeating your lane details to a stranger.

  • Documentation that's ready when you are

Rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and invoices delivered clean — not chased down three days later.

Freight capabilities

Capacity for the freight you actually ship.

Full truckload, partial, and specialized equipment across the Northeast and the lower 48 — sourced from a carrier network we build one relationship at a time.

  • Dry Van

Standard 53' capacity for palletized and floor-loaded freight — the backbone of most lanes we run.

  • Refrigerated

Temperature-controlled trailers with set-point verification for food, beverage, and other cold-chain freight.

  • Flatbed & Step Deck

Open-deck capacity for building materials, steel, machinery, and dimensional loads that need securement.

  • LTL & Partial

When you don't need a whole trailer. Consolidated moves priced on what you ship, not what you rent.

  • Expedited & Hot Shot

Team drivers and dedicated runs for the loads where the delivery window simply cannot move.

  • Intermodal & Drayage

Rail and port drayage for longer hauls where transit time allows a materially lower cost per mile.

Shipping something that isn't on this list? Tell us about the load — odds are we've covered it.

Why CM2

Thirty years of habits. No corporate runaround.

The freight market rewards brokers who answer the phone and tell the truth about a rate. That's the whole strategy.

  1. You're dealing with the family that owns it

No account tier, no regional manager, no handoff to someone who wasn't on the first call. The people who answer the phone are the people whose name is on the authority — which means decisions get made while you're still talking.

  2. Rooted in Northeastern Pennsylvania

We sit on the I-81 and I-80 corridor — one of the densest warehousing markets in the country. Local relationships mean capacity when the national boards come up empty.

  3. Every carrier is vetted before dispatch

Active authority, current certificates of insurance, and safety scores reviewed on every assignment. Double-brokering and cut-rate operators don't make it onto your load.

  4. Pricing you can explain to your CFO

Quoted in writing, with accessorials spelled out up front. If something changes in transit, you hear it from us before it hits the invoice.

  5. Communication that doesn't stop at dispatch

Check calls, tracking updates, and a real person reachable outside of business hours when a load is moving.

  6. Built for the long lane, not the one-off

We'd rather earn a standing lane than win a single load on price. That shows up in how we handle the hard days.

How it works

From your dock to theirs, in five steps.

The same sequence on every shipment, whether it's your first load or your five hundredth.

  1. 1

    Share the load

Send the lane, commodity, weight, equipment, and pickup window. A quick call works too.

  2. 2

    Get a quote

We price it against live market data and confirm the rate in writing — usually the same day.

  3. 3

    We cover it

We source the carrier, verify authority and insurance, and dispatch with written instructions.

  4. 4

    Track in transit

Check calls at pickup, en route, and at delivery. You hear about a delay from us first.

  5. 5

    Deliver & document

Signed POD and a clean invoice, filed against your load so billing never stalls.

For carriers

Running our lanes? Let's get you on the list.

Half of this job is knowing which trucks to call. We're always adding carriers to the network — if you're authorized, insured, and in good standing, we want to know where you run.

Get set up as a carrier
  • Straightforward setup

Send your operating authority, W-9, and certificate of insurance. A person reviews it — you'll know where you stand quickly.

  • Lanes that repeat

We'd rather build a standing relationship than fill one truck. Tell us the lanes you run and we'll keep you in mind for them.

  • Someone actually picks up

Real people from booking through delivery, and paperwork that comes back to you clean. We were on your side of this business for a long time.

Get in touch

Let's have a conversation.

Shipping freight or running trucks — either way, start here. Send us a lane and we'll come back with a rate. If it's urgent, call: someone who can actually quote the load will pick up.

Tell us about it

Freight to move or a truck to fill — this reaches us either way.
